After being sick for a few weeks my girl and I had to get out of the house. We decided to take advantage of the warm temps and new snow to go snowshoeing and have some hot cocoa. We geared up and headed out for a few hours behind the house.

Here are some pics.

Took my BK-14. Love this thing.

These woods felt squatchy so I tried to call one in for some cocoa.

Looks like fun. I love snow, wish we got it more around here, like the old days were.

I have never been on snowshoes in my life. I really want to try that, looks like you had a blast.

Very cool!

I've only seen snow once or twice in person and can safely say i never want to try snowshoeing for myself :p

looks like yall had a blast!

Looking like a real good time.......I love snow as long as I don't have to leave the house and hearth....LOL......

Thanks for sharing the pix and the day .......

Yeah man it was out of this world!

Seriously though, it tasted like Taun Taun turds....

Jeremy

*LOL*
And I thought those things smelled bad on the OUTSIDE!

you got to credibly use the word 'squatchy' - a good day by any measure.

Man that looks awesome!!!! I got a simple question? Seeing the obvious damp climate you live in, do you keep the coating on your knives, or do you strip em? I see the 14 still has coating, and can see the obvious bennefit.

I have not stripped any of my Beckers yet. I do plan to in the future though. I think my BK-14 will be the first one to be stripped. I plan of gutting alot of fish this summer with it and I don't need all that coating possibly ending up in my food.

That's awesome! Snow shoeing is one of the things I intend to try before I die! Very cool!
