So 7 or 9?

Alright you guys are infectious!

I need a big(ger) knife. The campanion is already one of the biggest knives I have ever owned but those pictures you guys keep posting of the stripped 7 and 9's have me drooling....

Mainly used for having fun :D

I know I know, get both! but I cant just yet so which one first?

This was hard the frist time around. Icould not make up my mind witch one I wanted the 2 7 or 9.I went with the 2 good choice. This time it's going to be the 9. I want to chop something
 
Oh man,that's easy,I'd go with the 9!That was the one I chose to go with my 2,no regrets!In fact,I use my 9 more.
 
Either one. 9 if you are looking specifically for a big knife, 7 if you want a longer replacement for the BK-2 with more of a point.

I think the 7 is the best looking of all though... :D
 
2 and 7 have many overlapping qualities, IMO. The 9+2 offers a broader range of abilities than the 7+2.
 
I love the 7. Always have and probably always will.

However, since you already own the 2, I would go with the 9 first. If you were looking for your first Becker, my vote would be for the 7 all the way.

Good choice. You're going to like the 9. It's big, but well balanced, just got a good feel for a big knife. Plus, there isn't much you can't do with it and the
"Oooo Ah" value went you pull it out is priceless (as in people around you going "Oooo Ah") :D
 
You already made your (quite correct) choice. To make the wait that much more unendurable...
