I figured its been awhile, and the year is almost half-over. I remember hearing something about May, I am sitting here with money in hand. Anyone have news?

That's exactly why I look in every month or so. Quietly waiting for Becker info.

Was on the KaBar website yesterday and didn't see anything. Should be a great rest of the year with the RAT Cutlery SERE model and new line of Beckers coming out....

:D

I spoke with a customer rep yesterday on the phone and she told me the only one they plan on having out this year is the BK11, sometime around September. I also asked her about what type of steel would be used and she said carbon steel but was not sure which one, I'm assuming 1095 since that is the only carbon steel that I'm aware of KABAR using, oh and she did say that they were being made in there factory in Olean,NY.

I just posted a copy of the email I got from Tara at Kabar over in Wilderness & Survival. She quoted September as well. and listed the 1st run models as the BK2, BK3, BK7, BK9, & BK11.

We'll see,
BKRHD

Am looking forward to a new BK-9 in 1095.

As for the rest, I'm probably covered.

San Mai necker UNDER 70 BUCKS!!!

I had to listen to it twice to be sure he didn't said "hundred and seventy bucks".

That's what he said did he?

Heve you seen his face when he said "The new stuff". He looks so excited.

The new version of a micro tactool looks interesting. I have been looking for something similar for a while now.

Guyon, that is a breathtaking collection!
I cannot think of a non-suggestive phrase to describe my reaction to that photo.

While that's good news for sure, I'd almost rather that new models were developed for the 'new' brand. But I suppose you can't improve perfection either. :)

Guyon, nice collection. Did you rent a helicopter for that aerial photo?

I'm sure getting one, gotta love Beckers. Oh i'm glad there made in Olean, i was thinking they'd be made somewhere else, good :]
