All right so, this is on the fence between hilarious and frustrating:

I fired off on an order for an Izula from KSF earlier this week - and have been stalking the USPS website ever since I saw that it shipped. :P

Now here's the thing: I recently moved in to a new place, and one of my roommates sent a house key off to another one of our mates who is going to move up later. Last night I got an email from the first guy about the mailbox key not working, so I go to check to see if the key to our mailbox works...and none of the keys I have here work. I think you see where this is headed...I wonder which key got mailed out...?

I've just checked the USPS site again, and lo and behold, the package was delivered this afternoon. So it's here, a tantalizing twenty-odd feet from my front door, but locked away in my mailbox, with the key presumably a few hundred miles away!

All I can do is sit here and chuckle at this turn of luck, I suppose. But a big thanks to Derrick and the folks at KSF for getting the Izula out to me so quickly, even if I can't get to it! :P

At least it's not stolen!

Kind of like having to wait until Christmas to get the presents waiting for you.

Sweet anticipation! :D

Irony is a bitch! ;)

ooooo have him mail you a key back! that will fix it.....

i would just contact your manager i have gotten into my mail box before that way.....

sit their all day with your ID and wait for the postman. hopefully he's a nice guy and rat fan.

 Something I've practiced a little bit, legally of course.

Haha, I suppose it would be a useful skill for me to pick up... And this is like waiting 'til after Christmas to open the presents...! :P

But yeah, I'm probably gonna give our landlord a call tomorrow to see about a spare...or camp out for the postman. (don't wanna wait for the key to come back if I can help it) :D

That's the most infuriating feeling, knowing the object of your desire has finally arrived yet it is still completely out of reach. Go look for a crowbar.

too bad you don't have another rat knife, you could destroy the mailbox door!

Most mailbox locks I've come across, are so easy to pick that it's not worth at all to destroy the door with a crow bar. Might be worth asking the landlord if he permits picking, if he hasn't got a spare.

Yeah, what would suck even worse is if the key got MAILED back and was sitting in the mailbox along with your Izula.

PURE TORTURE! What color did you get?:D

hehehe thats what i was aluding too..... mail it back , and have the key sitting next to the izula.....

Pretty much the same thing is happening to me right now. i've got a fenix flashlight sitting in the mailbox of my old apartment, its 200miles away and the apartment manager won't let me check it. I have to wait til the new people move in, and hope they're nice enough to return to sender
