Our site has been updated with this pic as well. This is how the Brend finish is now, and will be evermore. :D

...anyone see a difference between the two other than the wrapping on Kev's? ;) Look carefully...
 
The top one hasbeen radiased (sp) or rounded,if you will, to facilitate less "hand bite" when throwing. Do I win one?:D ;) :rolleyes: Hey Andy, can I get mine re finished in the future? I like the look of that new coating. Keep up the good work. You really make some nice stuff.
 
THe BOTTOM one has been ground off to allow the hatchet to "flow" from the hand more easily upon release...

Checked my order status...monday it is...monday I will have the field grade Brend Fighting hatchet...
wait until you see how I am wrapping mine...

however, I do not have any place to host pics...anyone volunteer?!
Will have pics Tuesday or Wednesday of fully wrapped Brend...

Correct Gentlemen!!! Our pic is what we call the "throwing mod"...which is of benefit when throwing the Hatchet WITHOUT a wrap.

When the customer wraps the handle however, the flares melt into the cord thickness and all feels comfortable.
 
Spent some time today with Andy throwing the very Brend pictured above. This thing is FRIGGIN' AWESOME!
I can't wait to get mine!:D
 
Andy, that coating looks awesome...I hope it throws as good as it looks even for a gimpy guy like me...;)
