So has anyone ever really seen a mint c19 plain edge....

They have to be out there somewhere. I've seen g10 model for sale, partial serrated models for sale but have yet to find a plain edge aluminum handled c19jr. in mint condition.

Mint? In collections only. (or brand new back in the day) I have the full size version with serrations because at the time that's what I wanted. Mine has been reconditioned from Spyderco and is still rock solid. I used the heck out of that knife. I still have it, although I no longer carry it. It has been replaced by so many other great Spydercos that I have. Good luck in your search.

To my knowledge, very very few plain bladed versions of the Terzuola C-15/C-19 models were released. I've seen a few over the years and they seem to command very high asking prices. When I purchased mine new in 1990 and 1993 respectively, my dealer couldn't find any plain-edged versions to sell me.

And the G-10 versions were only released in PS. Good luck!
