Yup - caught that. We'll see - the CGFBM at .250 and 27.4 oz weight makes a little more sense to me as a general purpose big blade.

A good combo for me will be a 3/16" ASH and .250 BM. I just don't understand why Busse decided to put those lines into the blade on the .250 CG FBM versions.

You could always go for one of the .270" thick, full height ground FBMs from the past year or so...

They feel to be about the same weight as the CG FBM. :thumbup:
There have been several coated in the .270 versus this one which is a satin 2008 FBM SE.
