Hey guys,

Not sure I know too many of the new guys, but the old reg's should remember me, either way how are ya?

Are there any new fangled things out now?
New knives, lights anything survivalish thats come out in the last couple months that a guy like me is interested in?

According to Solomon there is nothing new under the sun, so I guess "old" is the new "new", especially wool;)

Welcome back! Good to hear from you. To my knowledge there's nothing new out there, although I recently got my first Maxpedition (Fatboy) and I love it.
 
I remember you brotha! I been good. How you been? Referring to new-fangled... I make knives now. I don't think you've been around since way before I started. You should check 'em out.
 
I thought we would have to send out a SAR team to find you if you did not come back soon! Long time no hear- how is your bushcraft knife working for you?

PS- new thing around here is EVERYBODY has realized how efficient Dark Ops knives are for covert midnight tree de-animation. Hit a tree with these ultra operators and the knife batons itself and before the tree falls it is already stacked and burning. We've sold off all of our axes and other knives now, so time for you to do the same with some big giveaways so you can have the best knife ever made as well.
 
We all decided that a tanto point beats blade belly, and the minimum thickness for a bushcraft knife should be 5/16ths.

Nope...don't remember you. In the past several months, this site has evolved to only discuss survival in macro politics, theoretical physics, discussing dieting techniques for fitting into the latest Gucci Speedos and attending the annual Star Trek convention.
