It's a beast. Heavy. Thick handle, very smooth. The patina is just hnggggggggggggggggggggg.

This thread is "WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS)... :D

You'll probably want to sand down that handle. I have a big set of mitts and the factory lumber is left much to big around for my tastes. Plus, you get to tailor that haft to your liking.
 
Yep, got to have pics or it didn't happen. Maybe we should require a file be placed in all pictures to prove authenticity?:D

Hahaha file pic. Uh well I took it out when I bought it and did some limbing on a big spruce tree and cleared a trail of some mystery tree and then tried it on a dead maple and gave up. Dead dry maple is a bitch. At first I thought it was really heavy but now I kind of want an even heavier one. Like a 6 lb or something. Hopefully they get on that haha.

Straight handle also. Looks like you have no shortage of trees to fall victim to your new toy.:thumbup:
