So I bought a Hell Razor...which sheath?

There are several to use from. Keep in mind, this will be a user, which maker do you guys recommend?


I will be attaching it to my LBV or MOLLE gear in the field. Kind of initally wanted the leather, just because I dont want to scratch up the blade, even though I am sure I will mess up the finish by its intended use. Kydex really scratches the finish badly? I heard it was also noisy.

A well-made kydex sheath doesn’t rattle. Scuffing isn’t a big problem on a user.

All of the sheath makers on the Busse sheath page are very good, and it really comes down to personal preference.

They do tend to make more noise when drawing, but unless you're trying to covertly deanimate something you should be ok. Leather or nylon is probably a better choice for what you're looking to do IMHO, but then again how you're going to attach it to your load bearing equpment and what you're gonna do (airborne, etc) is probably as important if not more than noise or scuffing.
