Now, I've had this Ratweiler for several months now and could never bring myself to use her. I would take her out at least once a week and gaze at her, then put her safely away. I would hold her and marvel at how GOOD it felt in hand. I even almost sold her more than once. I purchased 3 other Ratweilers, two first gens and 1 2nd gen, but they just where not the same, they didn't have her FEEL. She deserves better, she deserves to work, to be enjoyed for the purpose that she was intended, so I finally obliged...
First I pounded her through a chunk of hard wood, a light warm-up for this knife
No trouble for this Rat
This was a nasty piece, not a straight grain in the chunk, this was a beating, I would have been seriously worried about doing this with any other brand of knife (other than Busse and Kin
), It was an epic beating to get this knife though the wood, but she made it, with nothing but a bit of coating wear to show for it
Next was a bit of white birch, this was a cake walk, the basically exploded apart after a tap for the baton
Then her friend came along to lend a helping hand
Who says a working girl can't take glamour shots, she's even prettier now
