I have to say, the knives were exactly what I was expecting. Sturdy and hefty in the hand, confidence inspiring. I handled the 0301, it is a HUGE folder. I guess I knew that but it is hard to really imagine until I got my hands on it. It felt like it was very work ready and was pretty comfortable in my hand. Then I handled the 0200 and it was also very hefty and confidence inspiring. The one I handled flew right open (very little detent) but it was solid. I then took a look at the 0350 and thought, "I get why a lot of people choose this as a heavy duty edc". It was quite a bit smaller than the other two and just a little smaller than what I am looking for. The 0300 and 0200 were a little bigger than what I was looking for. Unfortunately for the vendor, they were asking much higher than any online price for all they had and they didn't have the one that I thought would be a perfect compromise between the 300/200 and 0350. So as soon as I got home, I put in my order for the 0550 with kershawguy. I don't have a folder that I would consider "heavy duty" and I think it will fill role very nicely.

So it seems I won't be getting a 0550 next week, I guess it isn't meant to be. I suppose I can wait.

I bought mine from Kershawguy a couple weeks ago and he is great. Super fast shipping too. I'm loving my 0550 for everything, it broke in and is buttery smooth, I have ZERO complaints. Pretty impressed with the S35vn too. You won't be disappointed. I bought mine for heavy duty use and it shows no signs of ever letting me down. For me it's the perfect size and it's stout too which I like :)

What do you 0550 owners like the most about it? What are your issues/complaints, if any? Help fill the time until it gets here next week:)

Bad news Ray, I zero'd out inventory on that model a couple days ago and it showed sold out, then you somehow bought one , so I went to my website and did some digging and it was set to reserve items in peoples carts for 1 day, ha. I changed it to 1 hour, unfortunately that does not help you. I am very sorry for the mistake, I try hard to have knives available when it says I do. I have a bunch on order, don't know ETA, your call, wait or refund.

That is too bad, oh well. Incoming email, thanks for the quick heads up!

It's worth the wait! Kudos also to Dave; he's first rate and straight up. LOVE my 0550 from him. It's now my overall favorite blade. Adding on one of Rick's scales took it up to another level...or two!
