So my dad just started carrying a knife recently and i thought i would get him a cheaper EDC to test out and if he continues to like carrying one, get him a more expensive blade in the future. So i went with the CRKT Drifter to give him.
So today i received the CRKT Drifter,(the G10 model) in the mail, and to be honest i was expecting a sub par knife at best...Well i was very wrong, i pulled it out of the box and it is so solid, absolutely NO blade play. So that was one good thing.
I have heard they come pretty dull, not mine...out of the box it goes through magazine paper no problem. Another good thing
In the past ive had CRKT liners crap out on me and were just horrible, this one locks up perfectly and is smooth to disengage. Also this one doesnt have the stupid LAWKS or whatever to keep the liner from disengaging. Awesome
The G10 is very nice.
The knife has no blems or anything wrong with it from what i can tell.
The only real problem i had was with the pocket clip being a little too tight, easily fixed.
For a $17($16.20) EDC folder, i could not be happier.
Just thought i would share with everyone.
