Thought I would share - its still spinning now, so no result to show. Feel free to ask questions

I wouldn't leave it unattended , but whatever works :)

It ran without issue for about an hour and a half before the drill battery was out. I ended up with a very uniform, but very mild finish. I think I needed rougher stones for a more pronouced stonewash look.
 
After laughing for a bit I realized that this is actually pretty creative. Kudos, man. Curious how the blade will turn out, please post pictures if you've got the time to do so.
 
The stonewashing was pretty subtle. I suspect it has to do with the painted quartz media not being all that abrasive. I rolled the blade, the clip, and the steel scales. I sanded and polished the g10.
