And it struck me that - I could not make heads or tails out of a schematic!

I can't begin to say how wonderful that felt!

So much of the terminology was so alien to me. Waves of thrill swept over me!

Things that, just 30 years ago, when I was in school learning basic electronics, were second nature to me, were now just so much unknown scribblings.

My goal has been mostly achieved!
When I retired from the Computer/IT/electronics field 10 years ago, I promised myself I would forget one thing per day about it....
