...the other day, how long I've been a member here and how long it's been since I've really participated. My knife turn-around hasn't been NEARLY what it was years ago, so I don't have much input around here anymore. Regardless, I still lurk on occasion and figured I'd just check in. On that note, I do have some cool pics to share of some Ti. anodizing I've been doing here and there. Now that I have improved my setup, I expect that I'll be doing more in the future.

Any old faces around here that remember when I did participate back in the day? Am I possibly the oldest member with lowest post count? :o

Yep, I certainly do remember you from the early to mid aughts. :)

Welcome back.

Your anodizing looks good. The blue is vivid and the color density is consistent.

I hang out here a lot but don't post much as can be seen from my count. I didn't do the math, but I think I've got you beat in terms of lower posts/day over the years. We're both pretty slow in post production. :D

0.04 to 0.40 posts per day - Jackal's account is older, but your count is quite a bit lower, purple95 :)

Any pics of those bali handles back on the blade?
 
Hey guys! Thanks. Oh yea, you got me beat purple95...big time. The bali handles just shipped back to rightful owner this AM, so no pics yet, but it was a gold TiNi Arc Angel so I tried to get the latch to match the blade going from memory of the last gold TiNi treatment I'd seen YEARS ago.

I had a '99 account but so much had gone on in the past 11 years I still can't remember what my name was. I do remember seeing the name Jackal on here though.
 
Jackal I can't say I remember you specifically but my count is fairly low also. I just started participating more within the last year. I guess once I sold off my 40 or so Daltons and collection of Microtechs I fizzeled out for a while.

Welcome back. I like your anodizing nice and even not blotchy like some I've seen.
 
I need to check my old "List of good guys to deal with" thread in G/B/U, but it seems like you and I did some B/S/T before jeffa. Only Dalton I ever ended up with though was an Arc Angel. Odd that the bali I'm doing now have the same name. :)

Keep in mind post count is pretty much meaningless. While the quality of posts is what really counts.

Been around as Bastid and Gus K for a while myself. :D.
