I was in Denver over the weekend visiting my sister and decided to take the short trip over to Golden to visit the Spyderco Factory Store. It was a neat experience, they've got some nice displays up with memorabilia and just a ton of knives available, ranging from new models to discontinued and a bunch in between. The staff was very friendly as well, one gentleman helped a family that came in the same time as me by really walking them through all the different categories of Spyderco knives. A very nice woman asked me if I needed help as well and I thanked her but told her I really just wanted to walk around and take a look at everything they had. It was a neat experience and definitely worth the 15 minute or so drive from Denver. Leaving Spyderco I happened to spot the Coors plant just down the road (hard to miss). Took out my iPhone, whatta ya know, free tours of the Coors plant. All in all it was a great little day trip to Golden, CO added into a great trip visiting my family. Oh and I also managed to pick this up while in the Spyderco factory store. The kind lady who asked me if I needed help put it over by the register for me as soon as I spotted it. She went to the back to grab the box and told me it was the last one they had. So I don't know if it's the last one, it's kind of neat to think so, but I'm really just happy I was able to pick it up...especially under retail
