So I went to my local tackle store and person helping me out whips out a sebenza!

I went to my local tackle store today to grab some gear for surf fishing next week. I was purchasing a new rod and he needed to open something so he whipped out a seb 21!!!! This is the first person I've seen and somewhat know that appears to be into knives! At least by my standards I REALLY wanted to bring up his seb as I've never met another knife enthusiast in person, but the atmosphere was quite awkward with other "sheeple" in the store and it didn't feel like an appropriate topic to bring up. Next time I go to the shop I'm bringing my starbenza!

rotfl, I work in a gun shop and found out a few days ago that one of our regulars is a knife nut as well. We get a long quite well lol. He was the only customer in the shop one day when I figured it out.... we talked knives for a little bit then he puled out an ESEE 4 (I think, it was either that or a 5). We had a god conversation on knives after that. Knife nuts are rare compared to gun nuts lol.

I also had a guy (a teacher actually) at my college have a sebenza in his pocket. I stated for a minute at the knife to make sure it was.....then I asked, it was a large 21 he carried it daily

A lot of gun enthusiasts are also knife lovers.

Go to a big knife show and the place is full of enthusiasts. You pretty much have to be an enthusiast to spend $1000 on a knife.

But, cool story. Take your's with you next time. My SAK really doesn't leave much of an impression.
