Hi!

ok, option 1 is benchmade ritter mini grip with custom scales ( if you can, recommend a maker that can make them under $100)

Spyderco Paramilitary 2

Zero tolerance 0350 or 0566

This is a matter of personal preference, but i'll give a quick background on the use of the blade. General EDC tasks, like cutting, nothing strenuous. Also as a backup woods blade. Nothing like batoning however. Thanks in advance!

I have a Ritter grip on its way to me and own a pm2 so I will be able to make a better educated recommendation soon! But having owned a mini grip before I would say that for EDC and people friendliness a mini grip will fare better than the pm2. The cutting edge is almost identical from one to he other, the pm2s handle is much longer and more comfortable than the mini grips though. If you use a knife a lot throughout the day the pm2 might be a better option for you. For General EDC tasks the mini grip is probably more carryable.

As for the ZTs I'm not really into EDCing "overbuilt" sharpened bricks so I'm biased against them to begin with :)

I have a couple of Ritter grips with custom scales. Unless you have huge hands, that should serve you well. I just picked up a ZT 0350 recently. I am really liking the knife so far, but I think I will put some custom scales on it. I will also be putting a custom titanium or maybe a 0566 clip on it (the clip is the only thing that I don't like).
