So, I'm getting the Rat Daddy in from Ebay next week.

Can anyone tell me anything about the heritage and history of this blade? I heard that they're not made anymore.

Not much to tell.


They were introduced at the Blade 2005 show and then made availible through the company store.


Swamp Rat has said that they wil never....and I mean never be made again...


In other words nice snag...

I paid $300. I hope that that's not tooo awful much. Heard that they originally sold for $290. So I didn't get ripped off right?

I dont think thats too bad a deal, considering the limited availability. They sold for around $250 I think, and the LE's were about $300. I would be suprised to find CG's for less than $300 now. A great Knife!
