And I just spotted an old Rookie or Police. Episode 7 from season 4, for reference.

The cops roll up to a neighborhood with a woman in the front yard, and a man sitting on the curb with his hands behind his back. Apparently, the man had gotten too much booze in him, and started screaming at the woman to put a bullet in his head. She wasn't about to deal with this, so she tied his hands behind his back with some cord. It's was a hell of a knot, so much so that the officer had to pull out the Spydie and cut him loose in order to put the cuffs on.

Couldn't tell exactly what it was, just that it had a long, slender blade, tip down clip setup, black scales, and a Spyderhole.

I was psyched.
 
Black Scales? Makes it sound like the Policeman was using a Police G-10

I know the Rookie comes with Foliage Green G-10, and is quite a bit smaller than the Police.
 
I saw that episode some time ago, twice, I think. I coulda sworn that the knife was an older version Endura with a plain edge.

I have seen a few Spydercos when I used to watch COPS. A SE Delica, a few SS Police models, some Endura 1's.

Going classic tonight? Watching COPS from 1993 is almost like watching Miami Vice...There must be tons of amazing Aviators and sweet mustaches!!!
 
I recently downloaded 22 seasons of COPS, and I've been slowly making my way through them.

It very well could've been an older Endura. I was just glad to see that the officer had good taste :thumbup:

And I've spotted more than a few badass mustache/sunglass combos in the early seasons of COPS.
