So, is anyone carrying the 761?

Just curious. Its on my radar as I'm looking at putting a Benchmade back in my pocket.

The 761 has become my favorite folder, I now have 3 of them. 2 of them are getting an ano job right now, I'll post some pics when I get them back. The pivot screw will loosen if you don't use some thread lock, but other than that they've been perfect. I highly reccomend the knife. Is there anything in particular that has kept you from getting the knife or that you have questions about? Brad

Waiting for those pics...I was thinking of sending mine off too. It'd be nice to see what yours look like.

I won't have them back until later next week, but I have seen a couple of the progress pics from the guy doing the ano for me and the one I'm having done in bronze looks really nice. Brad.

Not yet, I do have the handles back from ano, but I've been working 14+ hour days and haven't had a chance to re-assemble the knives yet. The handles turned out awesome. Brad.

i carry one. love the knife, great slicer. not a fan of the clip itself but the tip down doesn't bother me

I carry mine from time to time. At first, I found it kind of tinny sounding. It didn't feel solid. The pivot kept coming loose. And I had to take the pocket clip off to adjust the pivot.

The pocket clip itself looks nice, but it would grip the rim of my jean pockets so tightly that I got a wedgie everytime I drew the knife.

Now I have everything adjusted, and I ground down the inside of the pocket clip just a bit, and all is well. It's a super slicer that handles unusually well. I've been thinking of drilling an access hole in the pocket clip to make pivot adjusting easier.

I think a lot of innovative design and engineering work went into this knife, but it's mostly not obvious to the user.
