So, is this Sirupati a Vim?

The Kami initials in devangari are the same. It is indeed a Vim kami made khukuri.
 
The other Kami who I have seen use the Nepal flag recently as their mark is Anil. I believe he is one of the other kami's son. I have a small R-10 knife by Anil with the flag mark. I'm not sure if he has made the larger khukuri though.

There are four Devngari and one English marks on all of HI Khukuris and Swords.

I Knife maker's intinital.

2 Knife maker's personal sign. Each Knife maker has different sign.

3 Star is a mark designating Himalayan Imports Knife makers.

4 UB designates Uncle Bill. When Uncle Bill last visited with the Kami's he asked them to mark all the Knives with UB after he passed on.

5 HI logo is for Himalayan imports company.

also all the durba's I have ever seen the nepali flag is horizontal rather than vertical , and pointed down not up.

Vim is one of my favorite kami's, he is known to overbuild his khuks, not a bad thing mind you. I have a few of his pieces and there all beasts.

I can certainly say and confirm that that blade was a monster for sure Ndog, it took a half a side to cover that beast, one heck of a blade man I loved it.

Gehazi: Its an 18 1/2' AKB just a bit longer than the normal 15" and its choless. I wondered the same but Karda pointed out that the Munk Chunk doesnt have the clip point. Munk Chunk is more rounded. Someone must have ordered it without the cho for some reason unknown to me.
