The sands of time keep falling away, and therefore now is a likely good time to jump on the acquisition of a proper "big blade" and the BK9 is my knife of choice. Of course I'd never start a dealspotting thread, but maybe some of you fellow Beckerheads could subtly point me in the direction of where I could snag a proper birthday deal on some solid BK steel... Yes, most definitely. I bought mine for my birthday last year. And a BK2 this year. Pretty sure the BK11 was Christmas or birthday a couple years before the BK9. I bought all mine from knifeworks.com because I've bought every knife I've bought online from them. Doubt the prices are as good as Tomars, but they made me happy a long time a go, and I'm loyal.
 
Any time is a good time for a BK9, or any Becker product, or any KaBar product for that matter...and 'The Captain' knows where!

Yep, Tomar's. John is getting my call Monday for a couple 14's and maybe a 1217.
