Yeah, I've got the exact same setup on my wife's AMS.....

I really like the black paper micarta w/ the double cut, it seems they gave the handle slabs the double cut treatmeant too. It really makes it feel secure in your hands combined with the texturing/machining, just feels awesome to me!

Some people have stated that the paper is not as strong as the canvas; however, I doubt that I will be doing much chopping with this knife and I like the looks of it better. And yes, it is good!
