So, it's true. The Benchmade 705 has been discontinued.

First, the 721 and now the 705. I can't figure it. Weren't they selling? My hat's off to a wonderful knife. You will be missed.

That was also my question. The knife seems to have a cult following here and among other gun/knife forums. I bought mine last spring on the advice of many forumites here. I would have guessed it to be a very good seller.

I sure hope they will at least do some more limited runs of the 705 in different materials. What would be nice is a 705 in S30V with titanium scales.

Ditto here. Additionally they look exactly like knives being sold by a dozen different companies. Maybe the quality sets the Benchmade apart, but I can't tell the difference from mere photos.
