Great choice, you won't regret it. HI makes the most beautiful traditional khukuri on the market. Also has the best warranty from the many makers. If cash is a problem then the blems/deal of the days are right up your alley just remember price on those don't include shipping but any you buy on the website do. Also if I remember correctly if you buy a blem the handle isn't warrantied. I've bought two HI khukuri and one from Tora, KHHI, and EGKH and HI definitely has the best fit, finish, and customer service. I bought a Chiruwa Ang Khola and an M43, both beautiful and hardcore models. I think a WW2 or Ang Khola model would suit your needs very well.
