So I've decided to get my license back

I haven't driven legally since my only DUI on 11-21-08. I think I'm ready to accept the responsibility of owning a vehicle again. I'm looking for a truck, specifically a quad cab V8 that's not a full size.

Suggestions please?

Have you taken a look at the Crew Cab GMC Canyons with the 5.3 V8?

Otherwise, I'd recommend a Toyota Tacoma (although it does have a V6).

I really like the look of the GMC.

Not V8, but the Nissan Frontier gives you a full quad cab in a mid size.

Dodge Dakota is a great truck. Mine is a V6 but has all the power I need.
