They both look dangerously like they're going to make me abuse my credit card. Who can say no on Veterans day, right?

No Vex for me...unless they do a killer deal on it.
The Jackmandu, though? I probably need 2 of those. Luckily, I have 2 days to think about color combinations.

Can someone tell me what the satin jack added to this? Longer blade?

One would imagine there will be a bundled discount deal like they did with the Chop House/Skinner and BG-SFNO/BG-AMS.

That would be my guess, depending on pricing, I might be down for several of each.

I can't really say without seeing specs if there's more difference than just the blade length (the SJ had a 6" long, 1/4" thick blade)...I'm wondering how much it will differ from the Beefmandu

Any guesses on exact specs for the Jackmandu? Length? Thickness? Blade height?

I thought the SJ was 1/4" thick? (I had no idea, but I looked it up & that's what it said...though I did only check one place, and now I can't find the thread with the BUSSE specs)

Looks like it is going to be quite an interesting Veterat's day. :)

I did some more looking - apparently it started out at 1/4", and ended up at 3/16...and I've found ads with posted thicknesses pretty much every where in between, lol.
Hopefully, the Jackmandu IS 3/16"

How about a decent veteran discount? :D

I have a dd 214 for proof of honorable service that ended in 2012..
