did you come away with some idea of a time window before we can start ordering that bas ass desert 1911 from Les? I am fighting the itch to buy another pistol until I can order one of these mothers. I really hope this isn't delayed so long that it might be a Christmas present next year. I'd like to be out there this summer slamming lead through one.

Oh yea. A Busse addition of my favorite 1911. It doesn't get any better then this. :thumbup:

The new pattern direction and the slide details look awesome!

Is the finish going to be a Busse flavor or the standard Baer blue?
 
I hope it is the tan, screw blue on that war horse. I have a tendency to wearing blueing off very quickly from the grip area of guns, even first class jobs like Baer's.

Hey PG are you like rich or what? Geez the pistol alone is probably like $2500.00!:eek: Besides you guys got the ("C"anada) word gun laws so you can't carry it there anyway so what's your rush??:p
 
New guns are like new Busses to me man and one that has a Busse flavor to it is that much worse. :) Besides, I am anxious to add a third Baer to my collection. You had better check and make sure this one is CA legal, Les only makes something like 10 guns that are CA legal if I recall correctly.

its better if theyre not ca legal, then theres more of a chance for the rest of us :)
 
Hey PG, everything that scares libs is illegal here in CA! :mad:

We talking about the one that was posted in a thread here last week? The one with the Busse knife. Not sure why that one would be illegal in Ca, but then I'm not too well informed when it comes to handguns. I do know that they make it a mother to own one here. Enough of my gun lover friends complain about it!

As I understand it, California only allows a very specific list of guns into the state. If it isn't on the list, so sad, too bad. Here is the current Les Baer approved lineup according to this website http://justice.doj.ca.gov/safeguns/safeguns.asp :
