Just caught a thread about it in General... :thumbup: ...Sweet, Bossman!! So...is it a BOSS Jack variant, or...? :) (ETA: Mebbe not a variant, could be the "blood" on the blade making it look like it has a swedge... ;))

WHAT!!! I thought about this literally the other day; since Dexter is so fascinated with knives, why doesn't he own a Busse? That's pretty bad a$$.

Thanks for sharing that. I can't wait for the next season.
 
the 720p doesn't allow any more detail to be extracted beyond this that I can manage. If it was 1080p maybe.... It appears to be either a tan/tan canvas or a dcbb/tan canvas Boss jack. Unless they happened to go for an original shsj in desert tan...

Maybe a one off custom shop 'trainer' Boss Jack? Or even rubber?

Lots of interesting questions, does the shop make a few for the prop dept. Trainer edge, real, rubber or kydex.

Are viewers ready for a sage or other coated blade? (bama clay anyone?) And directors ready to give up that sparkling light on satin knives, without going full blacked out 'operator' knife?

I'm definitely going to catch up on Dex and catch this season!
 
the random shots of knives in other things (the aligator movie, the movie faster) appeared to be real knives. I don't know jerry's part in them, but chances are it's not a trainer model, though they might have taken off the edge for insurance reasons.
 
While I watched the first 4 seasons (thank you Netflix), I kept telling myself that Dex needed a SAR6! While it's not the model I had hoped for, the one shown does make me smile! Thanks for the heads up Jaxx!
