Well I've decided to put in an order to knifecenter.com, but I must wait for a very important check to clear. It could take 5 to 7 days! By then, they could all sell out or the store could burn down! What do you guys do when you've decided to buy a knife but can't yet afford it?

By the way, here's what I'm going to be buying. Any opinions on this stuff?
Cold Steel Mini AK47
Spyderco Endura 4 FFG in green
Boker IWB Belt loop
Baliyo pen
Victorinox medium (84mm or 91mm) pouch
1.3 oz Cold Steel Inferno pepper spray
Cold Steel inert pepper spray trainer

i copy and paste the name in google and hit shopping and pray somthing i can afford comes up from a reliable seller. or go and read every review i can find until i can. lol

Same here, I look at youtube reviews to feed my mania.

Be careful with the inert trainer, some have been known to be quite irritating to the eyes, cant speak on the cold steel brand for sure. Not sure why they make it that way but apparently some do.

Enjoy the new knives

Yep, I watch nutnfancy.

He is pretty good, but I can't understand his 4 oz weight goal.

I have endura 4 ffg, and the ak 47 full size, both EXCELLENT knives

If I can't afford a knive, then I don't buy it.

I also watch YouTube, watch pictures using Google photo search, read reviews and visit BladeForums.

make sure you check whether the baliyo is a chinese production or a usa production version. there is a distinctive difference in quality. whether that is important or willing to pay the higher price is up to you.

spyderco endura 4 <-- great choice

I do most of my buying around the last/first of the month. I use one dealer and make my mind up early so that I can call them to hold it for me. It is usually a month ahead of time, but since I always follow up and buy that knife they have no problem with holding it/them. Works out well.:D

I save a photo and keep it on my Vision board/folder :) It helps me save a bit more money and taking it down once I hold the real thing feels MUCH MUCH BETTER.

That's something I never understood either. I'm pretty much addicted to that guy's channel, but I EDC a 4.4 oz folder, and the weight is never a problem. Bulk and size are more of an issue to me than a few fractions of an ounce.

The version I planned on getting is the Chinese version. I've never had anything remotely like a balisong, so I just wanted to see if I enjoyed flipping it around and learning neat tricks with it. If I enjoy it, I'll probably get a USA-made Baliyo and then probably a Benchmade balisong.

And thanks! I've seen so many great reviews of the Endura that it seems my collection won't be complete without at least one. It will also be my first Spyderco, so I'm pretty excited.

Yeah i only buy/use folders in the 3.5 inch blade and above range, preferring knives that are 4in+ so a bog knife with a 4 oz weight means they use thin frn scales with liners an they tend to feel cheap to me so my ideal weight os 5.5 to 7 oz

Other than that he givs excellent reviews, ver detailed and very thorough
