Does anybody have an explanation for why there have been so many PC's for sale recently, but hardly any of the older BM's? I have seen numerous 68's, 69's, other production models, and even some PC customs, but rarely come across a 30, 35, 44, 45, etc. How many knives were made in the production runs of various BM and PC bali's? People always talk about how much rarer the PC's are, which is why they go for so much more money, and therefore i'd think we'd see less of them, but to the contrary...Thanks for any info.

I don't know about the difference between PC and BM balis, but what I can tell you is that is quite difficult to sale expencive knives on the forums. I had a mint 35 for sale and I got 0 (zero) offers (money or trades). Then I decideded to give a try and put an add in the local newspaper, it sold in 2 days. I'm sure that there are BM's for sale out there but not necesarry on the forums. This is a great place to buy, but there are better places when you want to sell. This is just my opinion, I might be wrong.

All the PC's I've seen/had/have are/were NOS(new old stock) that someone has hoarded for the past decade or so and with the high interest as of late, in balis as a whole, they've deceided to bring them out of hiding. I guess it's like anything else that was bought for about 25% of what it's worth now; sell 'em while the sellin's good!

Flava, a possible reason why you've had no luck selling could possibly be customs outlaws importing balisongs. Yes, its possible to get them through customs, but sometimes its just not worth the risk when dealing with more expensive knives.

Yeah,

If not for the stupid custom, I would have jags, BM42, and got some old PC's from Dawkind

GRRRR
I only can't risk it that much, given my currency now is limping against the US$(worse than just weak).

So...The lesson to be learned here is:
If the Rare, New Old Stock knife comes out of hiding. YOU should snap them up before they go back in to hiding for another 10 years or so, and then jump out at a cost of $400.00+
Signed,
One who has Rare NOS knifes Hahaha...
