I have a few 1/2 serrated assisted openers and a Pentagon II. I need something different. I want something fully serrated for tough cutting. I think I'm going to get a Spyderco.

I like the Endura, It's cheap and well designed. I like Military it's big and sturdy but it cost twice as much as the endura. The Manix is really nice but it only comes half-serrated, It's also a little too nice I would feel bad using it. I was looking at the Rescue as well it's so different and feature packed. It has a blunt hammer tip, a glass breaker in the handle, a whistle and you can squeeze it shut and cut some rope. But it seem like the only thing it will cut is rope and seatbelts.

You guys must some of these knives or all of them. Which would buy?

Get the Endura. But don't think of it as cheap, it's inexpensive. It's one hell of a tough user. I've had mine about two months now and have put it through a lot of hard work and it comes through all the time.

Wednesday afternoon, one of my friends who works in our produce department came over and asked for help. He needed to cut down the sides of a heavy duty cardboard box (used to ship about 300 pounds of watermelons) so people could get the mellons out easier. The half inch thick cardboard dulled his knife badly. My Endura sailed through it like it was butter and would still shave hair.

Get the Endura if you want a good hard worker that you won't be afraid to use.
