So mail in Iraq has been moving VERY slowly and today I received four packages, one containing my new BK10, and two others from BRL and his family. The care packages are awesome, BRL, and tomorrow when I take them to our work, I will get pictures of everyone digging in!! Thank you so much! Oh, and we loved the pictures and letters from your kids! How many do you have so that we can sent each of them a little something from Iraq? Pics of everything coming soon. Thank you all for your constant support for us over here!

Jarod, I'm really glad the packages got there safe and sound. Hopefully nothing melted! I've got three daughters who were a great help during the care package process.

I hope you guys realize that while this is just a small token (and there will be more coming), it's intended to show that many many of us feel a deep appreciation for our armed forces who sacrifice so much. We know you guys miss your country, your families, and are probably tired of having to wash sand out of your crack ten times a day. We hope you can get back home soon and safe, with just a great tan and an unfortunately inadequate paycheck to show for your time over there. Thanks to you and all your compadres. Swing by Phoenix sometime and we'll load you up with great mexican food and high-octane cactus fuel.

I really appreciate it, brother. I never knew how much my country meant to me until I came over here. I really do love our country and I love fighting for her. I really don't feel like I have given her as much as my brothers in arms who have gone before me. Every war prior to this one was fought from the front, but this is just nuts. Anyway, I really do appreciate the packages and I know the guys are gonna be pumped and full of sugar tomorrow. Give your family my deepest gratitude and I will be writing back to your daughters with gifts from Iraq. Thank you again!

That, sir, is no gun! That is a rifle, and yes it is most likely older than I am, however, I care for it, and it fires smoothly and accurately. I can take down a midget at 300 yards.

Glad to hear about this, Jarod. God bless and stay safe. God bless the Beckerhead 'family' too for kindness demonstrated. :)

So with all this sugar we are going crazy!! Lol. We haven't had sweets in quite some time. Right now we are having an impromptu dance party to some Michael Jackson!! Your care packages were definitely well recieved, BRL!!
