So... my CR Mnandi went through the spin cycle...

Left it clipped on to the back pocket of my jeans and mistakenly threw them into the washer along with some Tide w/bleach and fabric softener. Didn't realize it until I was loading the dryer. That was about two weeks ago. When the knife first came out, the operation was not as smooth (lube probably washed away?), but it feels fine now. Should I leave it be, or should I disassemble it and relube? Also, what might this mean for the wooden panels on the knife, I understand they're attached with some sort of tape?

It still smells mountain fresh.

Give it to me for inspection ;) It would make a great little brother to my small decorated regular. In truth, I think that your knife is just fine. If it was two weeks ago, there probably isn't much that you can do to the wood now. I'm sure that with a good cleaning/lube the action will be like glass again. The inserts are held in by tape, and also the tight tolerances of the wood to the titanium cutout. The tape is made by 3M and is supposed to be a permanent fixture.
Take care of that Mnandi!

If the wood and the rest of the knife look ok, it’s probably ok. I would take the knife apart and rinse it with clean, cool water. That would remove any soap, fabric softener, and lint. Dry the parts with a towel and let them sit for a while to make sure they are dry. Do not use any heat to dry. Lubricate the pivot pin, washers, lock bar surface, and lock bar detent ball with a small amount of grease. I use Break Free CLP to clean and protect the blade surface. Reassemble the knife, taking care not to crimp the washers. Everything should be good. Titanium doesn’t rust. S30V steel is relatively rust resistant. The other stainless steel parts of the knife are quite rust resistant. The wood is stabilized, so it should resist water quite well. I’m sure the tape that holds the wood on is quite waterproof. The only thing I’d be concerned about is the beating the knife took from the wash and spin cycles. Hopefully there’s no damage done. Just don’t do it again! :)

My mastodon handled folder makes regular trips through the laundry, I find that the thorough cleaning and fabric softener keeps the action very smooth. You just have to make sure to pick out any dryer lint.

The wood is stabilized (injected w/ resin)
so you shouldn't have any problems.
You might want to rub a bit of mineral oil on it though.

I would disassemble it just to make sure the pivot is clean of lint. If the wood is stabilized I wouldn't worry about applying any mineral oil. The oil will just sit on the surface and will not be absorbed into the wood.

Thanks for the comments guys. I thought for sure the wood was going to come off, but its a very nicely put together knife.

Thanks.

Perhaps this could be a new toughness test for knives. I mean...the spine whack is getting kind of old right. So instead of threads like "insert knife name here failed spine whack" it would be ""insert knife name here failed spin wash/tumble dry test".
