Ok so this is one of the best days of my life as I now have 2 new Busse's in route; an SFNO and an FFBM (just like the one I fell for on knife tests) and I'm feeling more "porcine" by the minute!

After they arrive I'm sure I will not put them down for at least a week but eventually I will need to find a way the sheath them. Actually my wife will get tired of telling the neighbors "no it's ok, he always has two large killing blades in has hands and a bemused look on his face. If you move away slowly he will probably not hurt you". So she will make me by sheaths so that I can be taken into polite company (this is the same reason I have holsters for the 1911's too).

So I will need to get me some "all hot sheath action" going soonest! I know kydex may (will) scratch the finish but so will rasping the finely honed edges across the bones of the heathens I vanquish! :D

Any opinions on the best kydex maker for the job? I will be looking through the forum for other opinions but I figured I would ask.

I am looking for a good fit with multiple carry options like a tech lock plus lace holes for attaching to gear. Do I need to send them the blades or do they have drones?

Maybe even a small attachable pouch or loop for basic needed accessories like a fire starter, photon light (red), 1.75L of bottle of Woodford Reserve, 8oz crushed ice, 1tsp sugar, 8 sprigs of mint, & a silver cup.

As always your thoughts are appreciated!

Okuden makes awesome work. He has a method of retention that is absolutly increadable and reduces the amount of scuffing on the blade. Currently all of my Busse and Rats are sheathed in his work and he is working on another for me as we speak.

I've made quite a few sheaths for people, but I'm not doing any at the moment. Chances may be that you'll have to send your knives out. Some of my top recommendations would be Okuden, Rainwalker, Eric from On-Scene, and Dave Brown seems to be back on track. There are others also that may be able to help you out. If it's leather you seek, our very own Leatherman (Dwayne) and Rainwalker are some great choices .

Edited: How did I forget about Chuddy??! Sorry Chuck!

If you go decide to leather, I more than recommend Chuddy Bear. Incredible work.

uh... yeah! What Dan said.

Rainwalker does some awesome work on both kydex and leather... he cooked up a dangler (god... I hate using that term) sheath for my FFBM and it is fantastic. Chuddy has also done some stuff for me and it is great as well. I have some second-hand leatherman stuff and am extremely impressed by it too. There are many others including Dave Brown and Okudun that are very impressive.

Lots of good choices here. Good luck!
