So now what?

I just bought a Szabo RAD from a forumite, it's a Dale Reif version of the RAD. It could use a few touch-ups, tighten this sharpen that, maybe tweak this or what ever right? Now my question is after shooting Mr. Reif an Email and not recieving any reply, I did a search in here about him and dug up some really unhappy clients. Seeing as he's not returning my email and he's burned a lot of people in here I'm not sure I want to send my knife to him to repair. So hence the title of my thread, So now what?

I'm thinking one of two options:
1st I get one of my more mechanically inclined friends to look it over and try to tune it up

2nd I send it to another custom maker and have them do it.


Suggestions?

I'd contact another custom maker, and ask them if they'd do the job.

I'm sure one of the makers who hang out on these forums would be happy to take care of you.
