Winter is fine with me, but this soggy, gray mess we've been in for the past month or so is really getting me down. It's definitely a time for a change in season.

I believe Lewis Black had a great assessment of the time around Valentine's day, saying something to the effect that it's the time of year when it keeps getting grayer and grayer and grayer until you slit your wrists just so you can see some color.
