I just purchased my first knife on Tuesday night. I bought a ZT 0560 Hinderer and cannot wait for it to arrive! I will post a picture of it when I get it. Thank you to all of you for the feedback you gave me on what to get as my first knife!
 
You should change the title of this thread to "I just started my endless pursuit of knives, and I'm concerned that my spending habits could become financially dangerous":D:D:D

Excellent choice for your first ZT, :thumbup: and wow, what an awesome first knife in general. I guess you skipped about 3 or four steps in the knife Knut process. What's your second gonna be? Straight to the Sebenza? LOL :D

Oh that's cruelty hahaha. I'll have to look at the sebenza too. I'll probably feel the urge to buy another knife here soon. I think I caught the bug.

Well, you picked a good one to start out with. Now you need a small one to drop in your pocket. A Spyderco Dragonfly would be just the ticket.

Thanks! I was trying to find a Boba Fett minifig to put his helmet on there instead of the Stormtrooper, but I couldn't find one in Walmart. Might have to just take a knot out and add it when I get it, I like the Stormtrooper one too much. :D

One heck of a first knife. The first knife I bought myself was a kershaw skyline for about $30.

So what is the full name of that sebenza? I've heard a lot of people say great things about the 560 and a lot people make complaints about it. It seemed to me though that the good far outweighed the bad.

I have a feeling you will love the 0560. If not, you should have no trouble selling or trading it here on the Exchange.
 
Congrats on your first knife you made a very good choice on the 0560 the only down side is that a lot of other knives will pale in comparison especially in smoothness.
