I earned Eagle Scout with the BSA this October 20. Yesterday, December 15, was my "Court of Honor" or celebration.

A good family friend gave me an amazing present--a custom Kressler! I could not belive it. It is "Loveless style Sub-hilt Chute."

Without further ado, here it is:

Here is a close up of the spine, showing the double edge, integral design, and tang taper:

Specs:
Blade length: 5 5/8 inches
Overall length: 9 3/8 inches
Blade/Bolster/Guard steel: RWL-34
Handle material: Presentation grade Sambar Stag

Let me know what you think, or show off your Kressler/s.

I am waiting to get my first customs as I have placed orders. My customs will be folding knives and I hope I notice quite a bit of difference. So far my best folders are ZT's and Microtechs and I have handled CRK's. Congrats!

Thanks! Eagle was a fun path, and I hope to stay active in Scouts.

AddictedToGear: What makers have you ordered from? I have an order in with Big Chris for a 5 inch custom fixed blade in M4 and G10.

Congrats on making Eagle Scout! Love the Kressler!

It is an amazing piece. I see a trend in my future: fewer production knives, more customs. (But probably not customs that cost as much as Kresslers!)
