So the plan was to start off with just one...

Those are some beauties! Congrats on your start to a wonderful collection. Glad to see Cohutta in there. And folks were lusting over that bush hermit.......

Thanks! They are all beautifully crafted, and each has its own unique feel. I can see why you can’t stop at just one...

Dam the OP.

Had my entire knife collection planned and funded...Just a few representatives of traditional, historical and new tech significance and that was gonna be it. No sickness for me, no siree.

Then I open the thread to see a maker I never heard of and some fine specimens that I must have some of.

The sickness is setting in..I need to be held bros lulz.

I remember when I had just one. Then the sickness set in. Now I don't even know how many I have but I love them all! Things can get crazy around here pretty quick if you're not careful. I just snagged another tonight! Happy hunting!
BTW, I really like that Bush Hermit.

Ha!

I started the same way. Just one real gem for the woods. Bushfinger. Then I see a Sneaky Pete I just have to get. It totally blows me away (at the same time it is the most comfortable and perfectly balanced knife I’ve held to date). Then I see a cool Bushraptor with the same color scheme as my Bushfinger and I get it as my non-threatening hiker.

A little time goes by ....Then I start thinking about a small fixed blade for EDC. Then different EDCs for different situations. Suddenly I have six and one in progress.

Seven seems like a great number to me. Then again, so did one.

You’ll find that one that becomes your real user. Usually a large and a small one. My Bush Hermit is my main custom user and absolutely love it. Going to get my new Drop Point Maverick out some and see if can knock off the Hermit. I highly doubt it though.

Nice haul! My adventures are more urbanized these days, so I tend to stick with the smaller edc models now, but both Andy and Russell do a fantastic job with the ergos on their larger sized knives.
