.....What should I ask Kershaw replace it with?
Dang it!
I just gotten this Zing in a horse trade deal with a buddy at work, and sent it back to Kershaw to be rebladed because my buddy had used an extremely rough stone to sharpen the blade at work. Well Kershaw was kind enough to replace the blade at no cost to me, and ship it back on May 15th. It's obviously still not here, and am waiting until USPS runs tomorrow and Wednsxday to see if it shows finally or not.
Steven @ Kershaws' warranty dept. started a trace on Friday and am waiting on what he is able to find out.
If we find out that it is lost, he has graciously allowed me to replace it out of their catalog with another knife priced similarly with the Zing when it was US made ($65.00) and then some with the loss of the blade.
So what should I replace it with? I was wanting to stay with a US made Kershaw although, it isn't that big of a deal.
I typically EDC a pair of ZT 0200's, so a smaller knife is OK ,

....but not a requirement. Are there blemish at the factory as well? I had Knockout which I really liked but traded for my ZT0200KW. I also would like to try the Piston. But these are priced much higher than the Zing's $65.
Any input is appreciated and thanks again to Kershaw for their excellent customer service!

Get a G-10/s30v Leek.........great little knife, and apparently discontinued, so won't be around for too much longer.

Of all of my leeks, its by far my favorite.

I wouldn't worry too much. One little white box I had came all the way to Cincinnati OH and then apparently rode back to Denver or some such nonsense. I worked at a post office for a bit, and sometimes it's sheer dumb luck that gets things done right.

Good luck in any case. If you must, I'd go with a leek or a blur.

I kinda like the random leek. The blade profile looks to be quite interesting as I like the wharncliffe blade profile.
And before someone throws out the Needs Work, which is really great knife, it only has a one position pocket clip, and everything else I tote is oriented tip up. Dang it!
A XL (4") G10 Needs Work with a four position pocket clip would be freakin' awesome!

I would give you a black tanto zing NIB if you were to tell them you were taken care of.

Skyline, Needswork, base Leek, or Scallion look to be the only ones even close in price that are US made.

Just so I understand correctly, you'll give me a NIB Limited Edition Black Tanto Zing to replace my old Zing to honor Kershaw's warranty and USPS' incompetence?
Wow....just wow.

Kershaw/Kai is my partner, without them, my business would not be thriving, so when I see a chance to give back to them and help someone out, It would be silly of me to not take that opportunity. Thanks for the chance, I need your addy if you want to go forward, you can see a photo of the knife on my web site.

I guess it depends, but I've always gotten stuff from KAI/Kershaw via USPS.
Sometimes they're great(USPS, not KAI, they've always been great!!!) sometimes they're ......meh?!?!
