So this Flu bug and this weather....IS GETTING ON MY LAST NERVE

So I was all ready to go to Easton this last weekend...left work a little early to make the last 2 remaining pie's.:thumbup:

I had already made the 7 cheesecakes and they were safe and sound at the compound...on TUESDAY.:thumbup:

So I leave on Wednesday and go home to get all of the last minute stuff together and BAM...wake up on Thursday (this is about 1am):(

DYING...a huge fever and well sick...as a dog.....:thumbdn:

I do drive to work to drop off the pie's and some other much needed stuff for the show (at this time I know I can not go...well:confused: I think I was not (cause to be honest...I was REALLY SICK with fever) who know's at this point...

I was just glad to get to get to the compound cause I really do not remember Thursday at ALL.

So I get back home and just go back to my bed (it was the bathroom floor) I SWEAR...Not fun.:(

So long story short...I am so sorry I was not at Easton.:)

So to top everything off...Ohio got hit with a whopper of a storm last night into this morning so NO ONE got to the Busse Combat compound until 10:30ish the roads were so bad....and it took me 40 minutes just to try to get into my car because everything was frozen shut.

I really just needed to vent.

I feel better, Thanks for listioning:)

Once again...just to be clear

FLU CAN SUCK IT....and the WEATHER CAN SUCK IT (unless you are in a very warm climate)

And the worst part about all this cold & weather??? It ain't officially even &@%#$* winter yet... grrrrrrrr!!!

We missed ya much, Amy, but I'm sure that everyone completely understands...and in all seriousness, I'm really glad that you didn't have to suffer through that flu bug either on the road or in a hotel room 9+ hours away from home. It's bad enough being sick when at home but it's much worse when you aren't.

Glad that you're feeling better, and THANK YOU for the cheesecakes & pies!!!! :) They were yummy!! :thumbup:
 
I keep saying that the Busse compound should move down here to South Florida, it was so cold today, I actually had to put on a sweater:eek:

You were missed in Easton. Glad to here that you are on the mend. The long car ride with the FLU!!! That would have been insane. Thank you so much for the wonderful cheesecakes and the chocolate silk pie was amazing. That will make next year in Easton that much better when you are able to make it.:D

Wow, sorry about the flu, hope yer feelin better :)

And the weather? Ive had enough cold and snow already. Wind was blowing so hard I didnt even bother trying to plow today.

I missed you at Easton but sorry to say, but I still had fun without you. Everyone else still ROCKED and I still ate your cheesecake. But it wasn't the same without you. I hope you feel better =)
 
LOL!!! Why not Southern California? You do not ever have to worry about snowy conditions!

Relax a little Amy, you work way toooooo hard!!!
 
Hey Amy I know how it feels I work in a Hospital and got the Flu as soon as it was available for download.... I agree the flu can SUCK IT!!!!! I hope you are feeling better :) Put some INFI dust in your breakfast cereal and you should be fine :D

Sorry to hear you're feeling yuck Amy. We hope you get better real soon!

If it makes you feel any better, it's really warm here. BUT, very humid and wet. It won't stop raining. It's driving us batty!
