Hi all,
Much like many other first timers CRK buyers out there, its a bit of a plunge into the "deep end"
of the knife pool. Particularly for my wallet. But this knife hobby has a way of pulling you over there...
About a week ago, I purchased a small, BG-42 sebbie with blued handles & clip from westllen.
It arrived yesterday and I picked it up at the P.O. Within the first minute of handling it:
I understood all the fuss.
Everyone raves about the quality and until I properly handled one, its something you dont
notice from pictures or a 5 minute look-over at an Excalibur outlet. The lockup, as my buddy
(whos also a knife enthusiast) said, is like a bank vault.
The handle is much grippier in hand than I assumed and although it feels small its surprisingly
big once its open. And the handle colour works for me. I was initally looking at inlays but
glad that I got this one.
Wish I could leave it in the cupboard but I believe in buying users so I'll be EDC'ing this one
and frankly, I think this is "the one"... as in the main knife I'll be EDC'ing for a while.
(I've already started selling off the rest of my knives) Of course, I may have to try out a
large Sebbie down the road but its a bit too large for my needs.
I guess you can put me down as an official CRK member!
