This question may have been asked before, but what other knives do you carry besides khukuris?

I carry an Ace of Spades on my keychain. In Nepal I never went anywhere without a Swiss Army knife. Yangdu uses a khukuri around the house more than I do.

Which SAK? Victorinox or Wenger? Which model? Sorry for the 3rd degree. Just very curious...

Clay, I gave my SAK to my sister-in-law when I left Nepal and I can't remember for sure what model it was. I think it was Victorinox. But whatever it was it sure came in handy in a land where people don't eat with knives and forks -- plus doing a lot of other everyday stuff that needed done just to stay alive.

Update: I asked Yangdu if she remembered what model the SAK was and she didn't. I bought that knife in Nepal at a trekking shop just a couple of days after my first arrival as a fledgling Peace Corps volunteer. It was the first SAK I ever owned! I have a cheapie imitation now that lives in my junk drawer.
