Off Topic So we're having a baby.....

Congrats! Place a special order for a custom HI blade for the little one.

A family heirloom made by HI and customized by dad is a special gift to the new male in the family for sure.

Any idea what caused this marvelous event. I've been researching this very thing for many years and I've pretty much narrowed it down to airport toilet seats. Not the ones on the plane but in the airport.
Several case studies I've performed showed woman had picked up or traveled and used the ladies room.
My wife included 3 times. Based on this when she needs to go tinkle I tell her to hold it and I'll find a gas station.
Since doing this we've had no more children.........I think I'm onto something here.

Congratulations, a life changing event and a very good one. Enjoy every second of it. Seems forever at times but childhood goes by very rapidly. I'm now discovering how rapidly grand childrens childhoods go by sooooo quickly.

I am most happy for you, so CONGRATULATIONS! We do hope the wife and the little one are doing well and things go smoothly for them. Please allow me to say: Please don't name him Bawanna or Kami!

Perhaps Zebulon Aluishas? Don't tell the lad he's named after one of my grandfathers prized and coveted mules. He was a fine mule though, be an honor. Bawanna does kind of roll off the tongue though.

So your saying my theory is incorrect. They are delivered by albino parrots? Why do mothers always get beer bellies then.
I shall have to take this into further advisement and ponder some. A twist I hadn't considered.

:D :D

You guys are funny  Glad the baby can't read yet  (so I assume).

Don't sound like he's here yet, they just thunk it up. There's still time, maybe they'll do audio books via wifi plug in, well I don't know where they'll plug it in but I'm not up on today's technology.

My grandson too his first meaningful steps today, about 15 or 20, he did 2 or 3 on Christmas, another life changing moment. My daughter catches everything on her phone.

20 years from now there'll be no secrets in a childs life, it's all recorded.

stwm, we're gonna need a name here soon. Boy ain't even born yet and he's got family all over the world.

Hi Bawanna, the name is actually spelled "Aloysuis" :-) Like Aloysuis McGillicuddy, the inventor of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky, and Aloysuis Snuffleupagus "Mr. Snuffleupagus" of Sesame Street. When I was little, my parents had a glass ashtray that was shaped like a duck, and was named Aloysuis - but I never asked how the ashtray got that name...

My grandfather was never much for spellin. Actually I don't recall ever seeing it wrote down.
I'll make note of this proper spelling for future reference.

If only ashtrays could talk huh?

When I was just a wee lad, I thought the name was "Little Wishes"...

Thanks for the warm replies. I'm glad we had the whole gamut of well-wishes and fish stories ;)
I think we're going to let the Mrs. name this one. She wants Bennett.

Do we have an arrival date? When was your last trip to the airport?

I think Bennett is worth a vote of the huddled masses here.
My oldest is a Benjamin, always been called Ben. Was gonna be a Zachary but wife's friends, (yes two) had babies first and named theirs Zachary. Figured that was enough Zachary's.
Then I selected Zebulon but wife didn't buy that one.

My youngest was going to be Clinton with Clint for short. I went to pick up cigars and suckers and the counter lady said I named him after the president. I about burned up a new Toyota getting back to the hospital to have the birth certificate amended to just Clint.
Lady at the store actually brought me the cigars, suckers and my wallet at the hospital. She felt bad but I told her she saved my son a lifetime of shame.
Didn't charge me for the cigars or suckers neither, guess she felt sorry for me for not thinking.

Great story! We're staying away from airports..
