  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

...visiting my in-laws and the kids and I decided to take a trip to Randall Made Knives. I was about half considering ordering one as I've wanted one for a while. Unfortunately my 6 year old son was fascinated with them and I couldn't let the little guy down, so he got to order one. He selected and ordered a model 25 in catalog configuration but changed the nickle hilt and butt cap to brass. He was a little disappointed when I told him it wouldn't be done until he was 10 but got over it quickly when I told him he'd have a Randall before I did. Little guys pretty excited he's got it circled in the catalog and looks at it a couple times a day.

Your son has great taste! I also visited the Randall Shop many years ago and was guided through the museum by a real nice and humble fellow by the name of "BO", will cherish that visit forever! Nice story.

About two weeks ago I traded into a Bark River Bravo 1 it was waiting at the house when I got back. I showed it to my son and he said "yeah mine's better it's a Randall" If he's gonna be a snot about it I may keep his LOL.
