So what have people learned about Rock Creek Knives?

So are they a good knife? Is the quality good and is the steel good for what they are made for. These look like that are built to be survival knives, are they up to that standard? Has anyone figured out what the steel is and is it good for what the knife is marketed for? Are they wort buying for actualy use? Is it a good knife? What have you found out about them and are they worth the price?

Funny you should ask! I just got done reading THIS review on Woodsmonkey.com about them! They make fantastic swords and so it's nice to see them get into the knife market more as well! They even collaborated with Ron Lake on a couple of folders.

i like mine. i have the sable model. looks good, feels good in the hand, very well made and sturdy. sharp and stain-resistant. good sheath, too. i'm going to get more.

That's what I've been waiting for . . . an in-depth review. Thanks for finding that, FortyTwoBlades.

The Sable is probably my favorite also. I have a bunch of knives in that size already, but it's on the list anyway. :D
