A pair of tac6 ear phones,(gotta love 'em)
and a pair of cabelas trophy series boots gortex/thinsulate
What about y'all?

One of my presents was, and I quote myself, "a cool thing to be named later". I was looking at the Officina pens, but now I'm leaning towards the Lightfoot pen. This year will be the Christmas that keeps on givin' :)

My Father-in-Law got me a Rand McNally TripLink. You download the trip parameters into it from their site via your computer and it will give you info on directions, accommodations, services and lodging. Seems like a fun little gadget. Can't wait to use it.

I got a Swisstool CS (great heavy duty multi-tool with the essential Christmas corkscrew!), an ARC LS (great tiny flashlight - smaller than a Surefire E1/KL1!) and a baby son on Christmas Day.

Thank you Santa!:D

Regards,

Ed

my new toys have been an erricson t68i cell phone and a canon s230 powershot camera. i got the camera earlier but the phone was on christmas. i'm really happy with it.

My wife gave me a Filson Shelter Clath Packer Coat and the Filson Large Outfitter Bag. Jimmy was good this year :)

Congratulations on the Christmas baby ed.

I got a spirit CRT surf ski. Surely the most versatile paddle craft I have ever owned.

It's got enough glide to be an enjoyable long distance workout type craft, yet it has a decent rocker (bottom curve) and is short enough to be manouverable for surfing. I paddled about 2k's offshore on Christmas day and spent 3 hours surfing the huge rolling waves breaking on the offshore reef. Check out the surf photo from the spirit website.

Also got a Lieca Digulux 1 digital camera. Which has rekindled my passion for photography. Works more like a traditional camera than most digitals and is very fast.

Congrats Ed.

My fiancee got me an inexpensive Gen I monocular that doesn't take batteries (it's a click mechanism). I found that it doesn't do much with ambient light, but is really great with IR illumination. Awesome fun... like having a magic eye.

I always wondered how well the fish in the aquarium could eat with the lights out. Found out last night ;).

Ed, that's a beautiful thing! Congratulations. :D

I got a cool coffee table book on Treasure chests and a really neat visegrip clamp for my drill press. Also, a pair of vise jaw bendy things that make your vise into a miniature bending brake. :)

I got a Gerber sport multi-tool, a new Sanyo cell phone, a Maglight, and a bunch of stuff for my car (including some sweet safety flares that me and the guys will 'test' later!).

Way to go Ed!

My lady and I got ourselves a new Magellan Meridian Platinum GPS unit. With the MapSend Topo software and SD memory card. We also got ourselves a pair of Cobra microTalk units for when we are seperated out on our jaunts in the wilds. We also got a Rayovac NiMH charger and 16 AA batteries and 8 AAA batteries to go with it and all the other gadgets we use. Also got a new ASP Saphire Elite. It is a pretty cool little light. replaceable battery , and multiple settings. It will not replace my Photon2, but will make a nice addition. Got us each a Rotring Quatro. Nice pen. I think that is about it for the gadgets. The rest is knives and stuff.:D  :D
